August 9th - 11th

Joe and Emma Wedding

So many wonderful Weddings occurred this weekend. Our first of many started on Friday at The Mercure North Grange Hotel, where Joe and Emma tied the knot. Kane met Joe and Emma prior to their Wedding to discuss music choices, first dance and the service we were providing them. Joe and Emma had a passion for all things music and requested genres from all periods of time including hits from N-Trance, Blink-182, Five and The Killers. Dom played their first dance which was a special moment for the couple as it was The Lumineers 'Ho Hey'.

Stacey and Jason Wedding

Max was up next when he joined Stacey and Jason for their evening Wedding Reception at Thornbury Golf Club. Max welcomed the guests to background music, followed by the cutting of the cake and first dance. The song in question was James Arthur's 'Falling Like The Stars'. Music requests from the Bride and Groom included Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Bowling for Soup and Coldplay. Nothing but current floor fillers and hits from the 80s. Everyone involved had a fantastic evening, and truley was a day to remember.

William and Alexandra Wedding

So far it seems, the weather has held out beautifully for this weekend. However the rest of August is not looking so bright.. On Saturday now, and we joined William and Alexandra for their Wedding at The De Vere Cotswold Water Park, a truly stunning venue in this location. Mark met with William and Alexandra prior to their Wedding to discuss plans, and made them feel at ease with all things considered musically. Garth played to everyones liking with Motown, Disco, Club Classics and 90s Dance. William and Alexandra's first dance was performed by a band of which Garth worked alongisde all evening with back to back sets.

Mr & Mrs Knights Wedding

On Corn Street, in the heart of the city centre is the luxurious Bristol Harbour Hotel. Once banks of Bristol, now a perfect Wedding venue. Saturday 10th August was the wedding of Michelle and Adam. With many guest entering the Sansovino Hall for their evening reception, Dom welcomed the guests with soothing background music before their first dance at the beginning of the evening which was the more upbeat version of The Contours 'Do You Love Me'. The remainder of the evening consisted of nothing but constant floorfillers and party anthems. Some requests included CeeLo Green, Donna Summer, Scissor Sisters, Muse and Take That.

Gary and Sally Wedding

Back to back Weddings occurred this weekend at The Mercure North Grange Hotel. This time for the Wedding of Gary and Sally. The DJ, Kelvin smashed nothing but singalongs and anthems all evening to the Bride, Groom and their friends and family. Gary and Sally also hired our White LED Starcloth for the backwall to decorate the venue, you can see how stunning this looks from the photo just next to us here. Gary and Sally also decided to hire our Illuminated Love Letters with the optional heart instead of the 'O'. Our Love Letters are unique as they can be bright and cheerful throughout the day, then dimmed down in the evening to create a lovely evening ambience.

David and Joanne Wedding

Our fantastic final Wedding this weekend was the Wedding of David and Joanne who got married at Wick Farm in Bath. DJ James Stephens joined them in the evening to celebrate their marriage and party 'til the early hours of the morning. James went back to back with the Brass Junkies who were the bride and grooms band for the evening. Kane met David prior to the Wedding where he expressed their passion for a set of Motown and Soul to get the guests warmed up, followed by dance and club classics including Drum and Bass remixes, The Prodigy and Baby D.

A fantastic weekend and team effort from everyone at Cadence by creating the moment for every one of our Wedding couples.
