A Museum by day, event space by night. Bristol Museum & Art Gallery holds fantastic weekly Events, Weddings and Conferences. This week had Cadence providing the music for this years Murder Mystery. We're not sure who done it, but we are sure the guests had a particularly entertaining and unique evening.
Another Bristol Museum, another night. The Bristol Actuarial Society decided to take the evening off and host their annual Dinner Disco at The Mshed. Garth welcomed the guests with background music through dinner, kicking the night off with classic hits from the 80s and 90s. Garth said the guests were up dancing from the word go!
The Bristol Hotel sits on the harbourside and contains a beautiful Ballroom where most evening events are held. The Lacey family celebrated a special occasion on Saturday with two Birthdays and a Wedding Anniversary. With 180 guests and ages ranging from 18-80, there was plenty of music to be played for everyone. Some requestes included hits from Faithless, Avicii, Kings of Leon, Take That and U2. An enjoyable evening on a hot summers day in June.
Most of the week was miserable and wet, however our lovely Wedding couples were blessed with clear skies and warm sunshnine. In Tetbury, Kane arrived at The Hare and Hounds Hotel to celebrate the wedding of Elaine and Chris Andrews. Kane performed their first dance which was the classic hit 'When You Say Nothing At All' from Ronan Keating. Kane said their guests loved their Indie Rock, RnB and 90s Dance and were singing all the songs from Oasis, Sean Paul and Robin S. A truly fantastic wedding reception
Gemma and Matt celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Mercure North Grange Hotel. James joined the couple for their evening recption. James started their night with Toploader's rendition of 'Dancing In The Moonlight' for their first dance. All the guests enjoyed their Hip Hop, 90s Pop and everything in-between. James ended the night just as they started and played the original 'Dancing In The Moonlight' by King Harvest from 1973.
Our last event of this busy weekend saw Garth back at The Mercure Grand Hotel for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Haynes. Tim and Laura are really into their Reggae, Dancehall and Ska and wanted a mix of these together with some 00s and 80s. Garth performed a variety of Dancehall hits from the likes of Mr Vegas, Beenie Man and Gyptian. An all round fantastic evening and weekend celebrating lots of Weddings.
