Country music has been the foundation of the American music scene for generations, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline are just a few of the classic artist that form the roots of what is now modern country. The 90s saw Shania Twain, The Dixie Chicks and of course Lonestar become household names in the UK as line dancing clubs popped up across the UK.
By the 2010s new new artists such as Taylor Swift, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt and of course Chris Stapleton have arrived with UK radio playing these artists and the birth of UK country radio.
2024 and we have Beyonce with a UK number one, Shaboozy in the Top 10, Dasha right there too all in the same chart and there is more! Artists are hitting up the UK with tours and festivals and these are becoming massive events.
What kind of party can we bring?
Country Music hasn't got to be sad break-up songs! We play great tracks that get people on their feet and dancing, from country classics with a modern remix twist, to the latest collabs with RnB and House music artists creating a brilliant blend of country, club, rnb and even EDM and house.
Depending on the vibe you are trying to create playing a great selection of new and old upbeat country tracks is a great start to the night, then moving up to some collabs and remixes and ending often on a couple of classic sing-alongs such as Country Roads or Jolene or both!
