If you decide Cadence is right for your wedding, everything is confirmed through our online booking system, giving you a clear record of your booking and all the details we've agreed.

Absolutely. It's your wedding, so your music should reflect you. We'll discuss the genres and styles you both enjoy and ask you to identify the songs your wedding simply wouldn't be complete without. You can also tell us about any songs or genres you'd prefer us to avoid.
Your choices give your DJ the foundation for the evening, while their experience reading the dancefloor allows them to build around those preferences and keep your guests dancing.

Yes. We can professionally produce a bespoke first-dance mix, from a simple edit or two-track mix through to a fully choreographed production featuring multiple songs, samples and effects.
We can also work with your photographer or videographer so everyone knows exactly what is planned for the first dance. Custom first-dance production is available from £75.

Yes, if you'd like us to. Our DJs are happy to take requests throughout the evening, provided they don't conflict with your own “do not play” choices or feel completely unsuitable for the dancefloor at that moment.
Your preferences always come first, and your DJ will use their experience to decide when individual requests will work best.

Yes. Your DJ arrives with a professional sound system, DJ booth and LED lighting suitable for your venue and number of guests. Our standard setups are available in white or black to suit the style of your wedding.
We provide everything required for the evening entertainment; normally all we require from the venue is access to a suitable electricity supply.

Cadence is a team of more than 15 professional DJs rather than a single-operator business. We deliberately maintain enough depth within the team to provide cover should illness or another genuine emergency prevent your allocated DJ from attending.
Any replacement DJ would receive the information we've collected about your wedding, including timings, music preferences, special requests and first dance, allowing the change to be handled as seamlessly as possible.

Yes. Our equipment is regularly PAT tested and we carry Public Liability Insurance. Most wedding venues require professional suppliers to provide evidence of both before an event.
If your venue requires copies of our PAT or Public Liability Insurance documentation, we're happy to provide them.

Yes. A booking fee secures your wedding date and confirms your booking. The remaining balance can be paid over time or settled before the wedding. Payments can be made by credit or debit card or bank transfer, and you'll receive confirmation whenever a payment is received.
