Dancefloor Hire Terms & Conditions
These are the terms and conditions as set out by “Steve Hill Events Limited” for the purpose of hiring a portable dancefloor to the Client/Hirer/Venue.
In the interests of health and safety, No food or drink of any kind is permitted on the dancefloor.
Any liquid spillages must be reported to the venue staff and mopped up immediately, as they will cause serious damage if absorbed into the floors.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the band and or DJ are aware of the no-drinks policy and that it is enforced by making regular announcements reminding the guests of the policy.
Clients are advised not to tamper with the dancefloor at any time. If for any reason the dancefloor fails or develops a fault please contact our team for help. Under no circumstances should the client or the venue attempt to correct any faults.
The Client must be aware that it is their responsibility prior to booking the dancefloors to ensure the size booked will fit the space provided by your venue. If this area is smaller than the floor size you are contracted to then no refund will be due to the client.
Under no circumstances should any client or venue move or disassemble any dancefloors without prior permission. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the hirer, please ensure your venue are aware of our terms and conditions.
Furniture is totally forbidden on the dancefloor. If your dancefloor shorts and LED lighting goes off during your event and we have any evidence of furniture being sited on the dancefloor you will be liable for damages.
The Company is not responsible for any damage or injury to persons or property caused by the dancefloor howsoever caused.
It is the responsibility of the Client to inform us if there is any load in restrictions at the venue high steps, steep hills, or no lift access. Failure to do so may result in the dancefloor not being able to access the venue.
Steve Hill Events Limited accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to the floor its dance floors are laid on. We offer an underlay service which will minimise any marks or damage and/or the client may put protective underlay down if they wish to protect his/her floor which is available on request.
The client will be held responsible for the conduct of his/her guests and be held responsible for any injured person/s due to drinks being spilt or glasses being smashed during the hire period.
Clients will be liable to pay for damages to the dancefloor if they do not adhere to the above terms and conditions.
